Description
Burundi beans can be somewhat difficult to source, so there is a good chance that they may not be around for long! Make sure you snap some up quickly, because you won’t want to miss out on their delicious sweet, bright flavour.
The Burundi coffee beans are similar to the Rwandan’s beans, but you can argue that the Rwandan are just imitators of former’s unique processing methods. The Burundi farmer’s and processor’s traditional method of wet processing coffee cherries was imitated by Rwandan coffee producers many years ago. To give credit where credit’s due, the Rwandans are also producing high quality, delicious beans like their Burundian neighbours, that are well balanced and aromatic in the cup.
However, in our opinion the espresso and filter brews created with Burundi beans, stand head and shoulders above many other single-origins.
Available as Whole or Ground Coffee Beans: Filter, Cafetiere, Espresso & Aeropress.
