FAQs
Charity
The founder of coffeedante.com has been a Live Sound Engineer for many years working with many household names, and like a lot of people, he loves music almost as much as we love our coffee!
Live music in-particular, is the backbone to the music industry as many revenue streams for musicians has dried up since streaming has become more and more prevalent. During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, we saw the Live Music Industry devastated with gigs simply being cancelled indefinitely (not postponed). Lots of grassroots musicians AND crew then found themselves without ANY income at all – as many fell between the cracks of any government support in the UK.
This can be, and is, very stressful for everyone involved.
Not being able to financially support everyone (obviously) – we decided to help the people that help others – donating a proportion of our income to musicsupport.org. A registered charity founded in April 2016, providing vital help and support for individuals in all areas of the UK music industry.
Anything we can do to alleviate the stress of our fellow musicians and crew, we feel cannot be a bad thing. Along with a great cup of coffee to boot!
Discounts
Some coupon codes are single use, and some have expiry dates. Most coupons are not valid for use on already discounted bundles.
If you believe you’ve not used the code before with your account, and think it should still be valid – then please contact us by email, and we’ll take a look at your account to see if it’s still valid.
Please check your spam folder and/or whitelist our email address admin@coffeedante.com
Also – we don’t want to inundate you with emails, so we might not have actually sent you one yet…. 🙂
You’ll need at least one item in your basket, for the basket to appear on the right of your screen. Then at the bottom of the fly-in basket, there’s a space for you to enter your coupon code – then click apply.
You can carry on shopping even after entering your coupon code, the discount will still be applied as appropriate for your basket contents and the coupon entered.
You need to actually have a product in your basket for the coupon code and relevant discount to show.

Orders
We accept PayPal and Credit/Debit cards.
Stripe is an authorised payment solution provider that processes credit/debit cards.
This depends on which delivery service you selected on the checkout page.
The quickest way is though DPD courier, which is a next working day delivery service (i.e. Order on a *Monday, you get it on Tuesday. Order on a Friday, you get it on Monday.) If your order is over £30, you’ll have automatically qualified for Free Delivery – and this is generally sent via DPD anyway.
Royal Mail on the other hand:
RM48 Usually with 48Hours.
*Please note – orders are roasted in the morning and shipped in the afternoon. So generally speaking our cutoff time is midday. So if you place your order in the afternoon, and select next-day delivery – you may not get it for two days because it won’t actually be roasted until the following morning. But then that’s what we call FRESHLY roasted! NOT sat on a warehouse rack for weeks waiting for you to order!
We’re working hard on getting that operational. We wanted to launch to get the word out there sooner rather than waiting for this one function.
Don’t worry though – please feel free to create your account (using social login or directly with us) order your coffee as you would, and as soon as subscriptions is up and running, we’ll send you a quick email to let you know.
Our Coffee
All our coffees are roasted to order and shipped out that day. Unless you buy your own roaster, you can’t get any fresher!
HOWEVER – it’s best to wait 3 or 4 days from our roast date to actually use your beans/grounds. This is due to the naturally occurring carbon dioxide (CO2) that emanates from the beans after roasting (hence the one way valve on the bags to allow the CO2 to escape).
Lastly we personally think it’s best to use your coffee within 3-4 weeks. That said some people can and some can’t, tell the difference between fresh coffee and that that’s been on a supermarket shelf for a month already. Bottom line – if it tastes OK to you – then you’re good to go!

While browsing our store, you’ll notice Hearts next to the Coffee Cups.
Clicking a Heart turns it red and puts that item as on your Wish List. Clicking it again takes it off your Wish List (the heart can sometimes take a second to change colour!)
To see all items currently on your Wish List – hover on the account menu at the top, and the Wish List option will appear for you to select.
You can then select individual products from within your Wish List to select which size bag and grind level your require before adding to your basket.
